Transition To Home Program And Neurodevelopment Follow Up Programs
Transition-to-Home & Neurodevelopmental Follow-Up Program is a program that guides families of high-risk infants through the transition-to-home process and ultimately reviews the childâs developmental milestones to ensure he/she is on track by the time he/she graduates from our follow-up program. After a safe transition home, appointments are scheduled every 3-4 months through the first year of life and then every 6 months thereafter for a developmental Bayleyâs evaluation. One of the main goals is to prevent hospital readmission.
Nicu Library And Reading Program
The NICU Reading Program encourages parents of babies in the NICU to read at least 20 minutes a day to their baby, to help develop their cognitive learning. The library, Theoâs Library, was created by the family of a NICU patient who recognized the different reading made in their babyâs development.

Fetal Testing And Treatment
Modern technology has greatly expanded the types of tests and procedures that can be done to help care for you and your baby. Fetal diagnosis and treatment is a collaborative effort between specialists from many different areas, including obstetrics, maternal fetal medicine, and surgery. While some birth defects are best treated during pregnancy or with surgery immediately after birth, other fetal abnormalities can be treated before birth to reduce some of the life-threatening consequences of the defects.
